Custom Karl Bear
Day 4

I was finally able to sit down for a bit and work on my bear this evening and got a few things accomplished at least :)

I worked mostly on his needle felted eye surrounds and embroidery for his nose and mouth.
I also spent a great deal of time further sculpting his muzzle and chin.
I still need to firm up his muzzle as it still has a bit of softness to the felting here and there and tonight I will be working on his ears. Most nights after our kids have had their bedtime stories and singing time and are cuddled happily into their beds, my husband and I settle down to a couple of episodes or Star Trek....yes, you heard me right...Star Trek! We are die hard fans :) I usually use this time as the majority of my bear making.....my poor unfortunate husband usually has to share our alone time with me AND my bears :) Thankfully, he doesn't mind too much!


Karl is well on his way to completion. Once his ears and painting are complete I will be getting his body together for sewing and assembly.
